Nicholson Fine Foods is an artisan food company that creates and develops an eclectic range of innovative fine foods.
They have a range of options available to anyone wanting to do a 'talk and taste' tour. At the end of each 'talk and taste', guests are welcome to purchase products at cellar door pricing. They also have some samples to complement the purchases and carry bags, or boxes if the product needs to be packed for a flight or road trip home.
All groups are advised to call the factory to make an appointment, they do not charge for 'talk and taste' tours.

Talk and Taste
The foodie “talk and taste” is a guided tour of the Nicholson Fine Foods flavours and textures in the product ranges. The ideal group size is between one and six people. The new cellar door window where the presentation happens has comfortable seating and a bench for you to relax and enjoy the experience. It’s under a large awning and protected from the north-east wind with a roll-down screen. During the presentation, serving suggestions will be made and cooking hints along the way. At the end of each “talk and taste”, guests are welcome to purchase products at cellar door pricing. There are also samples to complement the purchases and carry bags, or boxes if the product needs to be packed for a flight or road trip home. Call the factory to arrange a convenient time.

We found these products when we stayed in Yamba. We had a tasting of a few items at the tasting window and subsequently bougjt a few bottles. When we go home we opened up the pomegranate molasses and it was super tasty, that when we were nearing the end I had to order some more. I can highly recommend Nicholson Fine Foods.

If you truly love good food, you don’t want to miss out on this! The pomegranate molasses is out of this world and there’s hands down no better one 😍 we also bought the ginger dressing which I can’t wait to use, and a spicy honey! My boyfriend and I were driving around Yamba, looking for something to eat when we saw a simple sign on the street saying „lamb and barely soup“ pointing us in the direction of this shop. We ended up in an industrial area, thinking „surely that can’t be right“ but there was the shop! Apparently, Peter the owner of the shop, cooks up a little menu every Friday which changes with every week that you can buy and heat up at home.🥰 and man, was that tasty!! On top of that he gave us a little tasting of all the different dressings and sauces that he was selling. There were all super delicious and unique with a nice twist. We will definitely come back! Thank you for all your local knowledge as well Peter, we really appreciated it.

We saw the sign for swiss cherry pie's and stopped in to find out more, what a wonderful experience that turned out to be. Stayed for a tasting of various items which were all delicious the service from Peter was excellent. Highly recommend stopping in here for a tasting but be warned you may purchase more that you expected as the quality and taste is exceptional our favourites we the ginger, cherry/molasses, and the beetroot vinaigrette's and the habanero honey also a few relishes' s Thanks Peter will order more when we run out

Sensational purveyor of speciality fine foods! Peter has the best and most authentic cannoli this side of Italy. We were very appreciative of the way Peter accommodated us early in the new year by providing us with 10x of the absolute best cannoli you could ever have. Other than that, Peter was very friendly and even supplied us with a taste tester which was very much appreciated. See you again next time we are in Yamba. Kind regards, Adam & Rita
