We had a great experience with Balloon Aloft Byron Bay. The whole morning from start to finish was so smooth and easy. All the staff were super friendly! Shane was so friendly and funny throughout the morning. The pilot Emi us all at ease and we had a lovely flight. The breakfast after was delicious and a perfect end to a great trip. The views from the balloon trip were amazing! A most do if you are visiting Byron Bay.

A truly unbelievable and totally magical experience going on our first hot air balloon ride (Wednesday 7 January 2026), or more accurately, first Montgolfière ride, for sunrise over the Cape Byron lighthouse. Emiliano was our expert pilot, who offered fun facts and insights into the local areas we flew over. Whilst Steve and Simon provided ground support and good humour throughout the entire experience. We were blessed with perfect conditions - clear skies, great visibility and good air currents. I cannot recommend the Byron Bay Balloon Aloft experience enough. Check out some of the amazing pictures captured in the air. Also huge shout out to Simon who so kindly picked up my partner and I from our accommodation at 4.15am when our uber driver cancelled at the last minute, and kindly dropped us back after the balloon ride and breakfast. Incredible customer service. Thanks so much to Emiliano, Steve and Simon.

Such a professional outfit and very hospitable. The flight was BEAUTIFUL, over gorgeous countryside. We had a very smooth landing and great team work to pack, then back The Farm for a hearty breakfast. Two thumbs up, way up up and away in beautiful ballon 🎶

A simply awesome and enjoyable experience, even for someone who isn’t a big fan of heights. The pilot Emi made the flight enjoyable. They are focused on safety which is very reassuring. Overall a great experience and I’d highly recommend doing this !

Emillo did an amazing job flying the balloon the day couldn’t have gone better. The views were gorgeous and the take off and landing were smooth. The whole crew were very informative and professional. I would recommend this to everyone. I was surprised with this for my 60th birthday present. There was another couple that purposed too!! Breakfast was great too!
