Set in the hinterland of Byron Bay, Cape Byron Distillery is the home to Brookie's Gin infused with 25 botanicals, 17 of which are native to the area.
At Cape Byron Distillery they keep true to the time honoured traditions and art of distillation whilst creating spirits that capture and showcase the unique terroir of Northern Rivers (greater Byron Bay region).
They have a passion for excellence, sustainability and giving back to the local community. They are here to create a new chapter in the book of Australian Distilleries.

Available Tours
Rainforest, Distillery Tour and Tasting
The tours kick off on the balcony of the distillery where you are greeted with a gin and tonic on arrival. After hearing a bit about our story, your guide will take you on a walk through the regenerated subtropical rainforest where you will become well-acquainted with the native ingredients used in our gin. After that, return to the distillery to do a full guided tasting while sitting around the 2000L copper pot still and learn all about the art of distillation. Groups are more than welcome to stay on the balcony and enjoy a seasonally crafted cocktail with a view of the macadamia orchard.

We visited here a few weeks ago and had such a great time! We did both the gin tasting and the whiskey tasting, and really enjoyed them. We also tried a few cocktails, all super tasty. We wandered around the distillery as well, and every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. The whole place is fully accessible, which was awesome. The deck overlooks the Byron Bay hinterland and the view is incredible. Definitely worth checking out highly recommend!.

We did the Whiskey Tasting Tour and really enjoyed it. It was a very interesting and informative tour about brewing whiskey and what to know about tasting and comparing them. I can highly recommend it!

Gorgeous way to spend an afternoon. We took the rainforest gin walk and learned about native plants and gin of course. Very knowledgeable tour guide and splendid gin!

Fab afternoon on our rainforest distillery tour with Babs. Super cool to hear about the history of the land. Hard to pick a favourite gin. Would absolutely visit again.

We loved the Rainforest & Gin Tasting tour! Our guide, Babs was very welcoming & knowledgeable. As a big fan of Brookfarm products for years it was an added bonus to finally have an opportunity to be on the grounds & learn about how it all started. Brookie’s gin was superb! Highly recommend.
