Bungalin Aboriginal Cultural Experiences

Walangari’s Aboriginal Cultural Experiences were a true highlight of Wayahead's 2025 Mental Health Matters Awards. Their performance was engaging, educational, and deeply meaningful. We have received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from attendees, with many describing the experience as “highly engaging" and having "incredible energy". Beyond the stage, the team were incredibly friendly, professional, and a joy to work with, helping create a powerful atmosphere for the event.

This was hands-down the best Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural emersion experience our team has experienced. Walangari and the team were fun, shared knowledge and entertained! I can definitely recommend them for your next event. You won't be disappointed.

Walangari Karntawarra are amazing. Our school has booked them three years in a row for NAIDOC Week. Their performances are engaging, interactive and really showcase their rich Aboriginal culture. The students learnt about traditional Aboriginal dances, some words in the Aboriginal language, tools and story telling. Delia is very professional to deal with and they are highly recommended. The performances are great experience.

Walangari's Bondi Aboriginal walking tour was fantastic ✨ I learned so much about local ancient Aboriginal rock carvings, traditional Aboriginal bush foods and medicines. I particularly enjoyed when Walangari shared personal stories about his culture to add nuance to the information he shared. He was very easy to understand and it was really cool to see the walk from North Bondi to the Bondi Pavilion (a path which I regularly take) from his perspective. I'd highly recommend to anyone!
