Catalina Club

We went to the Catalina club twice for dinner. The club is very spacious and modern. The service was great and we ordered rump steak and the barramundi for dinner, the pizza and the salmon salad the 2nd night. The presentation of the food was beautiful, and they were very delicious. The price was a bit high, but the food is good quality. Highly recommended.

Always hits the spot here! Great place, lovely ambiance, and what’s crazy is how fast the food comes out — only about 5–10 minutes even when the restaurant is packed during long weekends. The food is always amazing and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best go to for food in all of Batemans Bay. Highly recommended! ✨

Tonight, I headed to the Catalina Club for dinner, expecting a good meal, but what I got was an experience worth talking about. The evening started with a serve of cheesy garlic bread that set the bar incredibly high. Perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside, every bite was packed with flavour that was impossible to resist. For the main course, I ordered the hot honey. It arrived topped with a generous layer of perfectly melted cheese chorizo and hot honey that blanketed a juicy, tender chicken breast. The combination of textures and flavours was spot on, making it one of the best parmis I’ve had in a long time. Just when I thought the meal couldn’t get any better, dessert arrived. The Ferrero Rocher cheesecake was, without question, the star of the show. Rich, smooth, and indulgent, it simply melted in the mouth. Every bite delivered a luxurious chocolate and hazelnut flavour that words struggle to describe. It wasn’t just a dessert it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. If you’re visiting the Catalina Club, do yourself a favour and save room for the cheesecake. It’s worth the trip on its own. Dare I say the most extravagant dessert experience you could ever have the pleasure of experiencing

Ordered the following 1. Pizza- The inverted plates they used perfectly marinated the pizza so it had a lovely wet paper towel texture. This texture was beautifully paired with mountains of cheap ham that loved sliding off and splashing into the pool of water my pizza was swimming in. 2. Prawn and steak pasta - The meat was chewy, the pasta was so overcooked and the light curry style sauce just wasn’t a great pairing. Will go back for golf and beers never for food, the pizza chefs should be ashamed of themselves considering they have a legit oven.
