The tips and techniques Alfonso showed us on this tour have really lifted my photography game. I was surprised to realise there were more things I could do with my iPhone’s camera than I had discovered on my own. And then to practice how to improve the photos with the editing tool, means I’m now producing significantly better photos than before. Alfonso’s expert photography knowledge and his confident and gentle approach were engaging. Although we were a group of strangers initially, his use of exercises where we shared our results and learned from each other as much as from Alfonso, had us feeling comfortable and friendly with each other. As a bonus, we got to see some of the sights of The Rocks and finished up at one of the best locations to capture Sydney’s scenic beauty. I’ve been raving about this tour to my friends ever since. I heartily recommend it!

We participated in the SmartPhone Photography course with Alfonso and found it to be very good. Pre-reading was sent, as well as instructions to download the editing app, which meant you could familiarise yourself before the day. This enhanced the learning on the day. Alfonso runs a small group format which works really well, to be able to both hear the lesson and share with other participants. We had various assignments to complete and then to meet back, learn to edit in the app, and share achievements. Alfonso was a great teacher. Would recommend.

This was an excellent way to learn about how to use my new smartphone to produce amazing photos. Alfonso was friendly, patient and made sure to know what I wanted to get out of the experience. He set a series of challenges for us which was so helpful. And we finished with pub meal at a great pub in the Rocks. Highly recommend!
