I couldn’t recommend Tex Tours highly enough. We’ve toured the Hunter Valley with Tex twice now, and both experiences were absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, Tex kept communication clear and easy, taking the time to tailor each tour to suit our interests and preferences. His timing and organisation were spot on, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the day. Tex is great fun to be around and truly elevates the experience — his local knowledge, sense of humour and genuine kindness made both trips not only seamless but incredibly enjoyable. I’ve been going on winery tours with TexTours in the Hunter Valley for many years, and every single trip has been fantastic. Tex is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and always makes the day special by tailoring suggestions to suit the group. He’s warm, kind, and has a great sense of humour, which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Tex is absolutely fantastic. We saw some of the best vineyards and with great chat, everyone had an amazing day, would 100% recommend for any group trip to the hunter! This was our second time on Tex Tours and we of course had prompt communication leading up to our day, selected vineyards we didn’t see last time, and also stopped for cheese and chocolate of course! Tex is easy going, organised and super experienced, he was a pleasure to hang out with, and ensured we got plenty of group photos at each stop! We were in perfect hands when celebrating a hens party. It was an unforgettable day. Thank you Tex!

Every experience has been so organised, warm, and welcoming—from the stunning vineyard settings to the knowledgeable Tex who brings each visit to life. We’re a family from the US and we joined some great local mates for a reunion of wine/cheese/chocolate tour and Tex was incredible. He’s got the connections and relationships to guarantee you a wonderful day and a unique experience. We even had one of the wine makers/owners giving us a tasting. Tex is a 5-star wonder in all his reviews for a reason. He’s funny, kind, knowledgeable, and professional.
