Southern Cross Kayaking - Sydney Region

Had a fantastic time kayaking on the Cudegong River. The folks at Southern Cross Kayaking were really helpful and friendly. We hired a 2 person kayak for 1 hour, which was just enough time for us to kayak to the damn and back. The view of the rock formations along the river banks were just incredible.

What an idyllic spot. Easy Kayaking on a stunning river, away from it all. Cindy was a great guide, and her genuine love for the animals, birds and bush was clear to see. Thanks for a great experience Cindy & John 😊.

Thanks Cindy and John. We had a great time on the kayak tour yesterday. Our kayak tour guide, Cindy, pointed out so many things that would would not have seen, such as tortoises peeking their heads above the river surface, an abandoned willie wagtail nest, a bird and nest in the reeds, a darter bird, cormorants, as well as information about the area. They provided each person with a watertight bag for our cameras, or mobile phones, so we could take photos along our paddle. The kayaking was leisurely and nit difficult at all. The cicadas were in full song. I would highly recommend this company, whether you do the kayak tour, or just a kayak hire.

Cindy and John were awesome hosts. Learnt a lot about the area on the 2 hour guided tour. The national park is easy to get to, would highly recommend!
