Minyon Waterfall Rainforest Tour
Experience the spectacular Minyon Falls, cascading over 100m into the lush rainforest valley of Nightcap National Park, on a guided and informative Rainforest Tour. Minyon Falls walking track offers the opportunity to encounter a range of wildlife including wallabies, koalas, goannas, green tree snakes, carpet pythons, brush turkeys and the elusive Albert’s Lyrebird.
Whale Watching safari
Every winter, over 30,000 Humpback Whales migrate from Antarctica up the East Coast of Australia to mate and birth their calves in warm tropical waters. Witness their playful curiosity and acrobatics as they breach, slap and splash just off the beaches of beautiful Byron Bay. Wild Byron Whale Watching operate daily tours between June and October for the adventurous at heart on our purpose-built boat “Apollo 2”, offering 360-degree views, padded seating and powerful engines for comfort, speed and safety.

Absolutely incredible experience! Our whale watching tour was unforgettable, we saw so many whales up close, and the whole trip was just amazing from start to finish. A special shout-out to our guide, who was not only super knowledgeable but also genuinely funny, his commentary kept everyone smiling and made the day even more special. You can tell they really love what they do. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting, it’s an absolute must-do!

I've been on a number of trips with Glenn and his fantastic team at Wild Byron including snorkeling at Julien Rocks and whale watching trips. I can't speak highly enough of them. They are knowledgeable, responsible and such great hosts. They know the waters extremely well and are honestly the best possible local sea adventure guides you could find. I always learn something new on one of their trips and have a thoroughly enjoyable time. If you're thinking of going on one of their trips -- do it!!! You won't regret it.

What a fantastic snorkel experience! Leopard sharks turtles an octopus heaps if fish a pod of dolphins with 3 babies the Wild Byron team were great, Bree amazing at spotting everything,a wonderful friendly efficient crew.We will return!

We had the best time snorkelling with wild byron at Julien Rocks. The Team was really lovely and funny and made sure everybody had a great time. We saw Dolphins, turtles, Sharks and plenty of fish. Equipment was great and the boat ride through the Surf was great fun. Thank You so much!
