Sydney Oyster Farm Tours

A date out on a boat: champagne, oysters, and coming home a bride-to-be! ​This tour experience was awesome, and we absolutely recommend it. The tour wasn't too long; it was fun and educational, especially if you love oysters and enjoy a little local history. You'll leave knowing exactly what you're looking at the next time you see it! ​The produce was clearly fresh. The oysters were a little small for our loving bellies, but they were delicious. And the prawns? NUMM NUMM NUMM! ​We might be completely biased since this was a special day filled with love, laughter, and a happily-ever-after. However, the entire team—from the initial booking to the boat pick-up, the tour guides, and the hosts where we shucked our oysters—was perfect. They were everything on this day, and I truly couldn't have pulled it off without their help. Thank you, thank you. + The water gear provided actually worked everything inside our suit stayed perfectly dry. + 🏳️‍🌈👌🏽 - ​Be aware that it's a long round trip with no available toilet stop. - ​There is no public transportation or alternative option; you must drive there and back.

This tour was amazing!!! It far surpassed my expectations. We got to eat 18 oysters each and a few shrimp/prawns. Bob, our guide, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He taught us all about how oysters are born, how long they take to mature, and the history of oyster farming in the region. Pro tip, if you're a tourist like us, uber will take you to this wharf but will likely not pick you up. Bob was nice enough to drop us off near the train stop to catch the hour-long train ride back to Sydney, so plan accordingly. Highly recommend this experience!!!

Really enjoyed our tour! It was great to hear a little bit of history about oyster farming and the overall oyster lifecycle - was v interesting. The highlight was obviously the oysters and prawns themselves which was such a fun and a great experience! Who knew oyster shucking was actually pretty easy! Plus the oysters and prawns were oh so fresh! The only letdown was around timings - our tour ended up starting 35 mins late due to the late arrival of two people. I get that people run late / traffic and that you are trying to accomodate everyone however when 95% of the group are on time and are then forced to sit in the sun on an over 30degrees weather day, it’s not ideal….

Thank you again for fitting us in today. My dad and I had a fabulous morning together for Father’s Day! I could not fault a thing about our tour. Tom & all the staff are amazing.
