We had the pleasure of working with Anna and her husband at Ballina Homestead Motel. They took over the property just three and a half months ago and are putting genuine care into refurbishing the motel rooms while keeping the business running day-to-day. The commitment and energy they're bringing to improving the guest experience — while managing nearly all operations themselves — is genuinely impressive. Ballina Homestead Motel is in great hands. Highly recommended.

We were a sporting team that booked 9 rooms. Anna & Nathan were more than accommodating and ultra helpful in coordinating our booking & individual room types. The rooms were very clean & beds & pillows were super comfortable. We were given tips about dining in the local area & communication leading up to our stay was wonderful. Our athletes thoroughly enjoyed playing with Ella, the obedient, cute, on-site dog. We’d definitely recommend staying here & our team would definitely stay here again!

I was given a outside smokers room n pet friendly.. im on medical cannabis an have been refused access to this motle coz my condition i personally found all the staff and owner quite rude about this and Nathan made rude remarks about should only need oil. Not flour it is not up to him my medical condition so due to rooms not been clean on a 4 stay I believe this is worst motle in area.

Really happy with our stay. We had our 2 cat and bird. The pet friendly room we got was brilliant. Had our own private secure courtyard. The room was well stocked with self contained items for cooking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money, Highly recommend!!!

The rooms are so cute — and absolutely spotless! The outdoor space is just as lovely, with a well-designed courtyard where our fur family felt right at home. Everything is within walking distance, and the owners are incredibly warm and hospitable. They were so accommodating with our pet, even though the booking platform didn’t notify them. We’d come back in a heartbeat — it was really special reconnecting with a place we once called home 🥰
