Cedars Mount View offers luxury Hunter Valley Accommodation with tranquil surroundings in beautifully appointed self-contained romantic spa villas.
Their guests can experience the serenity of space in one of just four luxury villas scattered around an ecologically unique 94-acre mountain valley. Each villa stands alone, hundreds of metres apart from each other and completely private with expansive views of the mountains.
Each secluded villa is individually furnished and specifically designed for couples featuring two-person spa baths and cosy fireplaces. Cedars is an adults-only retreat and an idyllic place to escape, yet it is just a short scenic drive away from the wineries, restaurants and attractions in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country.
The spring - fed Cedar Creek meanders through the property creating the most private and picturesque locations to enjoy a picnic within the property. Park-like grounds are well maintained and walking trails are ideal for relaxed strolling or energetic exercise.
Guests looking for personalised transfers can order helicopter scenic flights or tours and transfers with pickup and return, direct from their private villa.

Cedars Mount View is a sanctuary for wildlife with parkland vistas and easy walking trails that are well-maintained for guests to stroll or run around the property. Cedar Creek meanders through the property and there are cleared private picnic spots to explore - the sunken old orchard has a babbling creek running through it. Kangaroos are abundant and countless bird varieties fly depending on the season. Two dams are home to wild and domestic ducks. Guests like to watch the afternoon duck feeding.

We stayed at the Treehouse and had the most beautiful experience! The room was spotless, and I am fussy haha, very impressed! Gorgeous views, so many helpful amenities and the spa and bathroom in general was to die for. So peaceful, relaxing and safe. Highly recommend booking with Cedars mount view! Our stay at Villa Stella was nothing short of magical. It is the definition of a secluded luxury retreat. The highlight was easily the skylight positioned directly above the bed, being able to drift off while watching the stars from such a plush, comfortable spot was an unforgettable experience. The villa strikes the perfect balance between high-end 'luxe' and the raw beauty of the surrounding nature. From the outdoor hot tub to the romantic touches of roses and candlelight in the bath, every detail felt curated for total relaxation. If you are looking for a private sanctuary to reconnect, this is it. Can't wait to come back and experience it again!

My partner and I just finished a Friday-to-Sunday stay at Cedars Mount View, and "amazing" doesn't even begin to cover it. If you’ve read the other reviews and wondered if it’s really that good—it is. Every bit of it. The property is breathtaking. It is so rare to find a place that feels this truly tranquil and secluded, yet still offers every modern luxury you could want. We spent the weekend completely unwinding in what felt like our own private slice of heaven. What really set this experience apart, though, was the service. On Saturday, there was a brief power outage in the area. While that might have ruined a stay elsewhere, Cedars had a backup battery system ready to go. We barely skipped a beat! It’s that level of foresight and "above and beyond" preparation that shows how much they care about their guests' comfort. The service was honestly some of the best we’ve ever experienced—seamless, friendly, and professional. We are already looking at our calendars to see when we can come back. This will definitely be a regular escape for us now. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxury getaway in the Hunter Valley, look no further. We’ll be back soon!

My husband and I stayed at Cedars Mount View for our honeymoon, and it was absolute perfection. The villa was modern, spotless, and beautifully designed..so peaceful, romantic, and completely secluded. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Christelle and Gilbert were incredible hosts. They were so kind and attentive, always happy to help with anything we needed. Truly nothing to fault. We can’t wait to come back again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely breathtaking – the perfect anniversary escape! We stayed at Cedars Mount View for our wedding anniversary, and this place was nothing short of jaw-dropping. From the moment we arrived, everything felt private, peaceful, and beautifully romantic. They went above and beyond to make our stay special — we had private in-house massages, rose petals scattered around our spa with champagne and candles, and a stunning candle-lit picnic under the stars complete with a cheese platter. The villa itself was modern, luxurious, and completely secluded — the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. Cedars Mount View has truly set the standard for our anniversary getaways — we’ve already decided to make this an annual tradition for our marriage.
