Escape to this tranquil 120-acre bushland setting. Cottages On Mount View is located just minutes from many Hunter Valley wineries, cellar doors, restaurants, gardens, galleries, golf and concert venues; in the hills above Pokolbin. Concert transfers are available right from the front gate. Bistro Molines is only five minutes from the scenic drive along their road.
The four cedar cottages each have two bedrooms, slow combustion fireplaces, reverse cycle air-conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and each sleeps up to four guests. Three of the cottages have a private open-air, heated spa with views straight to the stars. All have verandah barbecue facilities and a private picnic table.
Enjoy the sounds of the bush and abundant birdlife as you plan your day around the Hunter Valley's vineyards and attractions. At dawn or dusk wallabies, kangaroos and wombats often appear, and the local bellbird colony is a musical delight in this peaceful haven.

Oh my goodness this place was heaven. It’s not luxury but everything you need is there and well maintained. I wanted a stay surrounded by nature, a spa, bush walks, and a short drive to wineries. Cottages on Mount View had it covered 👌🏽

My stay at Cottages on Mount View was absolutely delightful! Jannene and Brett, the hosts, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout my visit. The cabins were well-equipped and cozy, with private spas and fireplaces that added an extra touch. The atmosphere at the property was serene and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. I particularly enjoyed lounging in the hammock while watching the Australian native animals wander around the property. The location was fantastic, with Mount View wineries just a stone's throw away and major wineries only a 20-minute drive. Overall, my weekend at Cottages on Mount View was everything I could have hoped for and more. I recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Hunter Valley!

Beautiful location and a lovely cottage perfect for families or couples. We also got a beautiful hamper with so many lovely goodies in it. We loved the wood fire and the spa as well.

Spent a couple of nights here recently. The owners have really nailed the basics: great location, well laid out cabins, fun spa and amazing peace and tranquillity. Where they really shine was the little things. We arrived a bit later in the evening and they had turned the cabin lights on for us, the fireplace was pre-made and ready to go with the lighting of a match & the breakfast hamper was generous not to mention delicious. It's these little things that make you think they really care about being great hosts. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed in the two bedroom cottages with spa & what a delight is was. The breakfast basket was plentiful & managed to use it for two mornings & used some for dinner. We bellbirds are a delight to listen to & the one time possum visit, you really feel you are away from all the hustle & bustle, however it is close to the vineyard...win win for us. I love visiting the "Hanging Tree" but will be sure to try out the "Petersons" Estate next time. Be sure to give this a try you won't be disappointed 💕🍷
