Discovery Parks - Maidens Inn, Moama

We have been many times over the years. We were very disappointed in the state of the cabins this time around. They are in a neglected state and NOT clean! Missing items. Smelly bed covers in bunk rooms. Dirty kitchen items. Dusty. One still had fat splashes all over the stove. The cleaners went into a cabin next door and they were out and finished in 15 minutes! No wonder things aren't getting done properly. They felt dirty, disgusting. We won't be back, we'll find somewhere else to stay on our future visits.

It's very nice and for a great price. I am a member so I save even more. The only thing I think should be looked at is the water taps are far apart. My hose was just long enough. Make sure to ask for a site next to a tap. Over all it's very clean, friendly staff and incredibly peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

For a $1300 5 night stay in a deluxe cabin, I had had much higher expectations of the cleanliness of the cabins. Ants on the kitchen from the minute we walked in, filthy walls throughout, especially the children's bedroom, unchanged doona covers on the kids blankets, hair from the previous guests in the bathroom drawer, mould in the shower, splash marks on toilet floor and the most filthy toilet brush I dared not touch - the scum line in the pool where kids have carved their names was the icing on the cake. Just pure laziness from cleaners to a point now that a deep clean is the only thing that would get this to a hygienic standard. We travelled with two other families who all had issues with the cleanliness of their cabins. Upon arrival at check in I saw another family complaining about the cleaning standard in their cabin. The park has great amenities and views of the river but we won't stay here again.

Arrival reception was not very friendly. Park is OK. Main toilets were modern and seemingly clean, but little pieces of toilet paper on floor in same cubicle for 4 days? Alot of work happening around park, which is good to see. My thoughts, there are other parks in region to try
