Ingenia Holidays Avina

My wife booked this vacation through wot if, lack of air conditioning is NOT acceptable in the summer, took my 5 year old son and the air conditioning is great in the bedroom but he was meant to be in the bunk bed at the front, now I forfeit my sleep in a bed in the bedroom so he can sleep, its 40 degrees this is NOT acceptable at all. Had I known this i would not have booked this place. The one she booked by accident is miles from anything I paid $1500 for a trip that was awful, no amenities, no room service and I had to clean my own dishes or else they would charge. When we came into our room the dishes were dirty and needed to be washed before we could use them i guess no one cleaned them before we came in? The floor is sticky and dirty and I was worried to walk around without shoes. The cabins are loud you can hear everything happening in the next room but need to be quiet past a certain time even walking around its loud. The roads are crazy and broken very dangerous. Since I've been here theres been a notice saying we have internet but no internet access at all, the photos on the site are a mixture of other places and misleading. I will be leaving early this place was a waste of money I could have spent the same amount and stayed at Novotel and had a better Christmas. Pool was filthy, sauna is broken i regret booking this place. I will NOT be back!!

This has been our 2nd time with our children and grandchildren. Its our home away from home. We love it here. Its not your 5star accommodation...but its still clean and the service is excellent. Never had any issues...we stayed in the Pool Villa's and the beds are comfortable and rooms a re very spacious. The manager, omg...shes the bomb! John the Handyman is the BEST, always doing his best when you need something done! But, its also his people skills, very polite and considerate and very helpful. Also the receptionist she was so helpful and very inviting! When you have service like that, you always want to go back! My family and I will definitely be going there again hopefully soon.😀Thankyou Avina staff for making our stay enjoyable. Hopefully Avina will have more activities other than the games room and swimming pool. 10/10

Clean, comfortable and well equipped cabins. We were pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the bed was and quality toiletry provided. We have a small but adequate fridge, microwave and surprisingly an airfryer in the studio cabin, with sufficient cutlery and crockery for 4 (there were just the 2 of us). Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Within 5 minutes drive to 2 shopping centres with Coles/Woolies/Aldi, takeaway shops and chemists. Location was great for us, but we were there for work, which is 10 minutes from the park. It may be different for holiday makers, expecting easy access to Hawkesbury river, which is 15 to 20 minutes drive to the closest jetty. In saying that, for the price it costed and good access to amenities, you cannot ask for anymore. Thank you 🙏

We camped here recently. The staff were friendly, but that’s about the only positive. The amenities block was extremely dirty — clearly not being cleaned properly. There were old soap bars left behind, mud everywhere, filthy floors that looked like they hadn’t been mopped in ages, and spiders all over. Our camp site was also dirty, with cigarette butts scattered around and a horrible sewerage smell that came and went all night. The kitchen was disgusting, and even the ensuite area was full of dust and cobwebs. There’s not much for kids to do besides the pool, which thankfully was clean and nice. However, there were unsupervised children in the pool and some very rude older guests. The road leading in is rough and not well maintained. Laundry costs $6 per wash and $6 per dryer, but the dryer didn’t even dry the clothes properly. Overall, we wish we had read the reviews before booking. I would not recommend staying here.
