About
The small but popular Little Beach campground offers beachfront tent camping ideal for surfers and nature lovers.
The campground is tucked into a pretty cove and surrounded by littoral rainforest. It's equipped with sheltered barbecues and toilets, but beyond that it's just you and the great outdoors.
Be prepared for the walk there and back with your gear. From the carpark at Grahame Drive it's a 750m walk through the bush with some uphill sections. Your effort will be rewarded the Little Beach surrounds are hard to beat.
Bring your surfboard to make the most of the early morning swell at Little Beach, or start the day with a swim and a wander along the beach's rocky shore. See if the fish are biting or pull on your hiking shoes there are several lovely walks to enjoy in the area, including the lovely Bouddi coastal walk. When the day is done and you're ready to relax, cook up a feast on the free gas barbecues while the sun sets and share stories about your spectacular day at Little Beach.

Great little hike in site. Plan ahead so your gear is easy to carry up and down gravel road (750 m from car park). Great hikes and beaches surrounding. Drop toilets, bbq and don’t forget to byo water. Rangers cleaned facilities daily while there.

Little beach campground was a glorious little camp spot to spend the night. There are 6 sites, it’s a walk in tent only campground, the sites cost $35 per night and booking is online. There is a 500m downhill walk from the carpark through the forest until you get to the campground. Pack lightly, gravity will help you down but it’s all you on the way back up to the car park. Bring water. The campsite has 2 drop toilets (no tap), 2 bbqs under cover, picnic tables and bins. Site 6 has the best view of the ocean and site 1 is tucked away from the other 5 sites, surrounded by vegetation protecting the area from wind but blocking the view. Site 5 and 6 are the flattest sites. Walkers and tourists coming in from the surrounding trails frequently wander onto the campsites which takes a little bit of the magic out of the experience. It’s a little bit expensive for a basic bush camp. You can get the same facilities for free at many state forest campgrounds. I don’t think that it’s worth the $35 but it was still a wonderful experience.

LOVED Little Beach! It was an easy walk there, quiet & secluded. The water is very rocky (big rocks) — I went in barefoot & was fine, but it was slippery. Water shoes would be a good idea. The water felt incredible. The camping area & bathrooms were very clean. I’m not a big camper, but I would 100% come back & camp at their spots. (res. required!)

Great little secret beach on the Central Coast. BBQ, Toilets and easy access from the car park up the hill. The hill down to the beach is a little steep though. Connects to MacMasters Beach which is nice walk, part of Bouddi National Park.

Nice place with the small beach. The problem is that it is always fully booked on the weekends, but when I was there it was only two spots taken and the rest didn’t . In the weekends groups of people coming into the beach so it is not secluded and quiet place
