Marcel Towers consists of six two-bedroom apartments and six one-bedroom apartments, located in Nambucca Heads - part of the inner Harbour known as the Glen, right at the entrance of the Nambucca River to the South Pacific Ocean.
Each apartment is a full-sized furnished home unit, with separate bedrooms, fully equipped and self-contained kitchens, a bathroom and a separate living/dining room. Each apartment has its own undercover off-street car parking space, elevated front balcony and spectacular water views with the two-bedroom apartments having 180-degree views of the river meeting the ocean. Linen is supplied and some selected apartments are pet-friendly.
The apartments are within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and tavern. The area is great for fishing and relaxing with some great walking trails.
Wifi, boogie boards, kayaks, snorkelling equipment, books, DVD library, cots and highchairs are available - free of charge.

What this place offers
Courtyard Apartment
This air-conditioned apartment is slightly different to the other one-bedroom apartments. It has a queen bed and day bed in the bedroom and the lounge room is combined with the kitchen. It is smaller and only suited to a couple or two persons with a child. It has a front-facing balcony with great views and is actually on the first floor, however, at the rear of the apartment there is a small courtyard with a balcony. This apartment is pet friendly and if booked in conjunction with the superior apartment, it makes a three-bedroom apartment. There is a small charge for any four-legged friend per night. (No smoking inside the rooms)
Riverside Ground Floor - Two Bedroom Apartment
This ground-floor apartment consists of a queen bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and a double sofa lounge/other bedding as required. The apartment is slightly smaller than the other two-bedroom apartments but makes up for it. It has Austar, air-conditioning and an attached garage with a washing machine and clothes dryer. The views from the porch are wonderful. This apartment is pet friendly, however, there is a small charge for any four-legged friend. This apartment is very popular with elderly and disabled guests. (No smoking inside the rooms)
One Bedroom Riverview Apartment
The One bedroom apartment consists of a queen bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the lounge room. The one-bedroom apartments can sleep four and extra bedding can be supplied. There is a separate fully self-contained kitchen and a separate lounge room. All the apartments are spacious and comfortable with a front-facing balcony overlooking the river. (No smoking inside the rooms)
One Bedroom Oceanview Apartment
One bedroom apartment consists of a queen bed in the bedroom. The one-bedroom apartments can sleep four and extra bedding can be supplied. There is a separate fully self-contained kitchen and a separate lounge room. All the apartments are spacious and comfortable with a front-facing balcony overlooking the river and ocean. (No smoking in the rooms)
Two Bedroom Apartment
It consists of a queen bed in the main bedroom, and two singles in the second bedroom, with divans as required (to sleep two extra people). The two-bedroom apartments are located at the front of the building and each has a balcony with a 180-degree view of the river meeting the ocean. All the apartments are self-contained and most are fully renovated. All are air-conditioned, spacious and comfortable. (No smoking inside the rooms)
Superior Two Bedroom Apartment
There is a queen bed in the main bedroom with a television, and three single beds in the second bedroom, two of which may be zipped together to make a king double bed. The apartment is fully renovated and used to be the manager's apartment. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a very comfortable lounge. The balcony has one of the best views in the apartment block, overlooking the river meeting the ocean and is adjacent to the large sand island right at the front of the apartments. The apartment is located on the first floor, with an easy flight of steps. This apartment can also be connected to the courtyard apartment through two adjoining doors, making it a three-bedroom apartment. (No smoking inside the rooms)

We stayed here overnight as a young family of five. Check in was quickly and easy, and the staff member was lovely and courteous. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, and having books and board games provided was a nice touch. We were able to use complimentary kayaks and life vests to get to the sandbar across the road for some water play and fishing. The location is PERFECT, walking distance to eateries and supermarket. We will definitely stay here again and plan to stay longer.

Great location. Perfect if you love to get a walk in. Great view. Close to shops and amenities. Lovely staff, so helpful. Very clean and tidy small apartment. It has everything you need. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Great nights sleep after a long drive. If I had to pick on something, the shower lip to keep the water in the shower needs to be a bit higher. The water does spill over. I will be back next time I am in the area.

We visit Nambucca every year or two, and for about 20 years have stayed at Marcel Towers. Penny and her family are wonderful hosts. The river front property is loved and cared for, having thoughtful improvements evident on successive visits. We appreciate the in room drying racks after high tide river swims! The nearby v-wall is a lovely walk from Marcel, and even better at dusk after enjoying a delicious dinner at the v-wall pavilion. Thank you Penny and team and good bye until next time.

Thankyou Jess, once again we have had a magnificent week at Marcel Towers. We always try to stay in room 10 or 11 which are brilliant 2 bedroom apartments on the top floor. They have an excellent view of the water & everything you need is provided to ensure you enjoy your stay. We will be back for sure.
