Absolutely amazing. My older brothers (40- 55) stayed at the pac hotel and regretted it. They had a shared toilet and a shared bathroom. Where as we had our own spa, 3 beds, pool and a large shared spa. It was quiet and a respectful environment. Definitely worth it. Wouldn't stay anywhere else next vist. Aircon and ceiling fans too.
We stayed for one night in a two-bedroom cabin at Angourie Resort and had a lovely experience overall. The cabin was beautiful, well furnished, and very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. The pool area was a highlight, fantastic for adults, with a separate kids pool that was great for families. The only downside was that the bed in the second bedroom was uncomfortable, as it dipped in the middle. Aside from that, our stay was very enjoyable and we would definitely stay again.
We spent two nights at this resort and had a lovely stay. The surroundings are stunning, lots of wildlife around, we saw a snake, lizards and lots of birds. It is a bit dated in parts, some of the outdoor pool furniture especially in the kids pool could do with replacing. There wasn’t a lot of staff about, but they were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was probably the highlight, very relaxing and lots of options. We drove into town for dinner the first night as the restaurant was closed however the pool bar was open for food for lunches. The food was great, big serves. The wifi was patchy everywhere on site which didn’t bother me but those needing connection might have found annoying. Compared to other places we have stayed this one is a little on the pricey side but lovely to stay at.
We really enjoyed our stay at Angourie Resort, it was a nice balance between an old school caravan park and today's super sized holiday parks. There were plenty of families staying but it was peaceful and surprisingly quiet. We stayed in a two bedroom villa, plenty of room for two adults and two kids. It had an awesome closed in outdoor area to kick back and relax. It is not very modern but very comfortable, ticking all boxes and having everything required. It wasn't far to travel into Yamba and beaches. You are surrounded by rainforest and nature, very tranquil. There was staff completing maintenance everyday including picking up palm tree fronds, cleaning leaves etc from pool. There looks to be a transition with NRMA getting various parts of the resort up to expected spec. The staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful. The only negative I would flag is the WIFI and phone/network reception, it was terrible most days but we were ok with that as you are surrounded by a rainforest and we were happy to enjoy what was around us.
Absolutely great location for a family holiday. Our accommodation was better than our onward journey to the Gold Coast in a 5 star hotel. It was nice and quiet for the time of year, we had plenty of room and not too far from Yamba CBD. Only qualm was the poor wifi at the accommodation, it was fine around the pool.
