The only four star motel in town, New England Motor Lodge is very quiet, yet conveniently located to the highway and main street of Glen Innes. It has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard and features a restaurant, bar, lagoon style swimming pool, guest laundry and ample parking.
The motel’s 43 beautifully renovated rooms are available in a range of Deluxe Rooms, Executive Rooms, Family Rooms and fully self-contained Apartments to cater for singles, couples, corporate travellers, families and groups. We recently stayed in the three-bedroom apartment over a long weekend and were very impressed with the value for money. Considering how busy that period usually is, the price was quite reasonable. The entire place was extremely clean and well maintained, which made a big difference for our family. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of six, including our four children. It also had all the kitchen utensils we needed, making it easy to prepare meals without any hassle. One of the highlights was the private outdoor area, it was quiet, well kept, and a lovely spot to relax and unwind. It added a nice touch to the overall experience. Another thing we really appreciated was the daily service. The staff came during the day to empty the bins and replaced our towels and face washers with fresh ones, which was a great touch and helped keep everything feeling clean and comfortable throughout our stay. A small but standout detail was the quality of the toiletries provided. The body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and even the extra body lotion were all surprisingly high quality, something you don’t often see in motels. My partner and I really appreciated this thoughtful touch. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it. A+ experience!

Fantastic accommodation! Nothing to fault Rooms were nicely decorated, clean, bed very comfortable even had electric blankets! We had dinner at the onsite restaurant and the eye filet mushrooms ans gratain was absolutely amazing!! Would definitely stay here again if we are driving through

You've got to try the Highlands Restaurant here. The steaks are local and so good and the meals are huge. They can get busy and staff always seem run off their feet, but they are lovely, always helpful. If you stay at the motor lodge, you can get room service too and the bar menu is pretty good. The rooms are nice - we always used to stay here when visiting but now we live here, so mostly visit the restaurant.

I’ve never stayed in such a quiet motel. Rooms are modern & clean The water pressure in the shower is 10/10 Only (personal preference) negative is the bed was too soft for us, felt like pushing through mud to move.
