Strathearn Park Lodge is on 109 acres on the New England Highway, with a one-kilometre driveway to the Homestead with valley views in a peaceful setting at the top of the Hunter Valley. Pet friendly by arrangements.
Several-day tours can be taken in the area, particularly to the Barrington Tops National Park, Denman Wineries, and some of the world's best-known Horse Studs. Several local restaurants need to be pre-booked on weekends. Horse Trail rides can be taken at nearby Wingen.
The Lodge was purpose-built as a luxury guesthouse, and no detail has been overlooked in creating a relaxed, well-appointed home away from home for your country holiday, with privacy a high priority. A fireplace, spa, lounge, and private courtyard make each room a retreat. There is also an indoor heated pool.
There are two golf courses within 20 minutes.
The town of Scone is just three kilometres from the lodge.

Absolutely gorgeous place. My husband proposed to me here a few years back. If you’re passing through scone or looking for a Gorgeous bed and breakfast I highly recommend this place. Perfect location for walks around the farm and to watch the sunrise and sunsets. Lynn and Peter give such thought and love into even the small details around the place. Each room has a spa bath and fire place to relax. Thank you for another amazing weekend. We will absolutely be booking another weekend sometime in the near future.

Our first time staying B&B and wow . Pet friendly accommodation with warm greeting and exceptional room with everything you could want down to a lovely complimentary port to enjoy in front of open fire before bed. Hot breakfast available. Nothing was a problem. Definitely will be spruiking our stay

We stayed at the farm during winter with our one-year-old and had a delightful experience. Gail was incredibly warm and hospitable, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our toddler enjoyed playing with Becky, the clever and friendly Jack Russell. There were colourful birds, horses and cows on the farm. The living space was surrounded by a beautiful garden with plenty of roses plants. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed and lovely spa. Our room was air-conditioned, and we also had the option to use the firepit, which added to the charm of our stay. There was continental breakfast provided that included bread, cereal and lovely homemade jams.

Our 2nd time here for an overnight stay. So relaxing & the welcoming commitee of Gail & the Jack Russell Beccy was quite special. Our studio style room was fresh & clean & any traveller would never guess it was pet friendly. One of the best we've stayed in.
