Water Gums Retreat

Water Gums Retreat is the ideal getaway for couples, families and small groups seeking a secluded natural retreat within easy range of the Barrington Tops. The property enjoys a 320-metre frontage to the Barrington River and among its most appealing features is a pair of billabongs, close to the house, which are magnets for wildlife of many kinds. Platypus are commonly seen in the early morning and around dusk.

Water Gums is a modern, four-bedroom fully self-contained house. It can sleep nine guests in comfort: two bedrooms have queen-size beds, one has a double and one has three single beds. With generous living areas and a large deck and veranda, Water Gums is perfect for a couple of families or a group of friends to use without getting in one another's way.

The house features a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, hotplates, fridge and all utensils; outdoor furniture and gas barbecue; slow combustion stove (wood provided), electric heaters and fans; CD player, great library, games cupboard and toys for the littlies; canoe for use only in the billabong; a striking design featuring local timber and locally made mudbricks.

The property has many beautiful and secluded picnic spots to enjoy.
