Treehouses and Eco Cottages
All our accomodation is set in a beautiful bushland, where guests wake up to the sound of birds. The couples-only tree houses are equipped with a private double spa, air conditioning, undercover parking and private use of Weber Family Q BBQ. The 2-bedroom eco cottages cater to 4 to 5 people and are fully equipped with modern facilities and a private verandah with BBQ. Some of them also include outdoor hot tubs to fully relax. You might get a visit from some of the many types of wildlife here, koala, possum, echidna, birds etc.

We stayed here last june and a hottub it was amazing and so relaxing. Booked again and stayed this weekend for my birthday, I thought I booked a hottub cottage again but was a spa bath (totally my mistake) did not dissapoint! Place is still as relaxing and wonderful as ever! Cottage was great and spa bath was divine ! Even got to use the pool this time as warmer month! So muxh wildlife and the hosts are lovely. Will defo be back again for a 3rd visit! I quote my 4 year old " I love the holiday house!"

Very beautiful retreat with a rainforest feel, great location, a 10min walk to the beach and local shops nearby. We absolutely loved our stay in a two bedroom cabin with a spa on the balcony. Cabins are cosy and tidy, pool at our doorstep, very friendly and welcoming staff (Antony you're the man, cheers for the late check-out)! Thanks for having us! We will be back 🙂

We absolutely loved our stay at Wanderers Retreat — this was our second time visiting, and it was just as beautiful as we remembered. The location is perfect, only a short stroll to the beach, and the whole place feels like a lush, green jungle hideaway. Our little wooden cottage was perfect for our needs — super clean, cosy and charming. The hot tub was definitely a highlight too - the best way to relax. It’s also only about 20 minutes from the airport, which makes a quick escape from Melbourne incredibly easy. We had the best stay and we’re already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend! 🌿✨

Thus ecofriendly retreat was comfortable, clean and very close to beaches and shops. The barbecue grill , TV and other amenities worked very well making this a relaxing weekend. The birdsongs were a joy to wake up to and neighbouring Lodges were not too close for comfort.

We stayed at The Wanderers Retreat for the October Long weekend (2025) and had a fabulous time. We stayed in the beach house which was a beautiful four bedroom cottage, perfect for our two families. The location was spectacular- a short walk to the beach and local cafe. The cottage is surrounded by trees and bush which gives a real sense of seclusion while still being close to facilities.The host, Antony was so helpful with any questions that we had as well as loaning us a range of gear including cricket bat, boogie boards and boards for sand dunking. The hot tub was a great bonus and really added something extra for our trip away. We will definitely be back. Would definitely recommend this place and especially the beach house for families.
