South Coast Retreat

My partner myself and my little dog Coco stayed in the first two bedroom cabin opposite the water. Loved the serene location and enjoyed our time very much. Staff were friendly and accomodating when it came to checkout time. I happened to be down that way recently and got to see the new renovations and have a look at through the second waterfront cabin. A little larger than the one I stayed in so when I return I would choose that option. I would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be returning.

Very disappointed with this stay. We arrived around 8pm after a three-hour drive with two children under two years old. As soon as we walked in, there was a strong unpleasant smell, wasps inside, and the windows had no fly screens or security screens — which felt completely unsafe with small children. I had requested a cot before arrival and it was not provided. I tried multiple times to contact reception and when they finally answered, the way I was spoken to was unprofessional and dismissive. I explained that I was stranded late at night with two exhausted, crying children and needed safe accommodation. Instead of helping, I was told a refund could only be discussed later. One staff member, Vicky, was especially rude and unhelpful, with very poor communication. With nowhere else to go at that hour, I was forced to return to the same place around 12:30am just so my children could sleep. This was stressful, upsetting, and completely avoidable if the situation had been handled properly. Between the unsafe conditions, missing requested items, and terrible customer service, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this place, especially to families.

Clean, modern, comfortable, well-appointed and perfectly situated; restaurants and shops are very close by and the views are beautiful. Zero complaints about this holiday property. Plus, we were able to bring our two fur babies; perfect!

We were in cabin 6 disability. It was clean and roomy. Great facilities. So nice and quiet. Highly recommend even though a distance from beaches. Lovely walk along jetty area.
