Alpine Hotel Warburton

A fantastic venue and place to stay to celebrate my brother’s birthday. The open fires created a warm, cosy, and welcoming atmosphere. There were plenty of areas to sit and chat while enjoying a glass of bubbly, red wine, or anything else from the well-stocked bar. The food was wonderful, and the burgers and parmi were the best I’ve had in a while. We stayed for three nights, and our ensuite room was warm and very comfortable. I can’t say enough about the service. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you to Rachael, Anthony, Ben, and the rest of the Alpine team for a wonderful weekend.

We stayed for two nights and attended a birthday function on one of the evenings. The birthday sit-down 3 course dinner was absolutely amazing and the buffet breakfast each morning was first class. There was a great selection at the bars as well. Lovely country pub with a warm, cosy atmosphere. The service was friendly and welcoming and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A special mention to Ben, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and informative. He made us feel right at home which really added to our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay for my sister's birthday this weekend. From the moment I phoned to book, Adana went out of her way to make us feel welcome and excited about our stay. We had a beautiful table looking out to the river and the waiter Dylan and other staff were relaxed and attentive and enabled us to have a long and much needed lunch and catch up. The food was the best we have had at a hotel in a very long time. The starters of scotch egg, focaccia and taramasalata were mind blowing but my personal fave was the ceviche with yummy coconut and puffed rice. The lamb was delicious and the locally grown beetroot and carrots were so sweet and perfectly cooked. We had the sticky date pudding twice during our stay, it was that good! It was great to hear all bout the produce and commitment to local ingredients from James the amazing chef. I also want to say how great it was to have different rooms to have a cocktail, sit by the fire inside and outside and play pool and then stagger up the stairs to bed. We never once felt rushed, it was cosy and we never had to shout over each other to be heard. I could go on for days and I almost forgot the buffet breakfast with fresh sourdough, local butter, perfect eggs and strong coffee!

Big thanks to the Alpine Hotel and all the lovely and friendly staff. You made us feel welcome and where incredibly hospitable. Thank you for turning a not so good day, into an awesome one. The service was outstanding and the food delivery was fast, despite a biker group (8-10 lads) pushing in front of us. The food was absolutely delicious. We had Bangers and Mash, a Parma and a Schnitty. And that gravy was absolutely divine. Desserts were also really nice too. The place was really lovely and fresh looking. You can see a lot of work has been done to bring back the old charm of the original building. Thank you Alpine. We look forward to visiting you again someday soon. 😊
