Visited September 9, 2025. Start of Spring Season. This was such a good way to explore surrounding Bendigo areas. I visited Melbourne then decided to have a day tour in Bendigo, this is around 2hrs travel from Southern Cross. I advise to arrive in the morning (10am) for the tour then explore it by afternoon to see more of the area. I arrived in Bendigo train station at 11am but the next tour started after 1pm. You can definitely hop on/off the train to see more of each stop. These were the stops I explored: ➡️ Train Depot * Tram Cafe * Museum ➡️ Deborah Gold Mine * free cave exploration (just the surface, separate payment underground) * souvenir shop ➡️ Alexandra Fountain * Visitor Center * Military Museum * shops * walked going to Bendigo Train Station There was actually a special tram for a private tour. Will definitely go back to see more 🌷
