Bendigo Lodges is a boutique luxury lodge/hotel of two all-electric lodges on King Street in the Bendigo Central Business District, made for couples and adults seeking a private, intimate stay.
Lodge Two is a luxurious suite designed exclusively for couples seeking relaxation and a romantic getaway, with warm timber finishes, a kitchenette and a private walled garden planted with local Box-Ironbark species. Lodge One offers high vaulted ceilings, a mezzanine, a full kitchen, laundry and a large private native courtyard. Both lodges include an electric fireplace, a bespoke queen bed, rain shower, Sonos speakers, a Nespresso machine, Starlink Wi-Fi and complimentary beverages, plus the shared Meeting Point lounge.
Guests check in remotely and arrive to soft music already playing and selected packages add a private itinerary. Designed by a local Bendigo architecture firm and completed in August 2024, the lodges have no gas connection. They draw on 28 solar panels (a 12.3 kW SolarEdge system) and a 13.5 kWh Tesla Powerwall battery that stores daytime solar for the evening. Hot water comes from a heat pump and each lodge has its own Tesla Destination Charger for electric vehicles.
The lodges are under two hours' drive north-west of Melbourne, with Bendigo's restaurants, Bendigo Art Gallery and the Central Deborah Gold Mine a short walk away. Bendigo Lodges would love to host you.
