Chocolate Gannets

My wife and I recently stayed at Chocolate Gannets – Beachfront Luxury Villas in Apollo Bay for our 15-year wedding anniversary, and it was truly an amazing and memorable experience. We stayed in Villa 4, which had a stunning full ocean view. The location was absolutely perfect, the villa was beautifully presented, and the amenities were excellent. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They even decorated the bed with balloons after knowing it was our anniversary, which made the surprise getaway I had planned for my wife feel even more special. The food hamper was perfect for breakfast and late-night snacks, and the complimentary extra coffee pods were such a thoughtful touch. Of course, being Chocolate Gannets, the hamper also came with a complimentary bar of chocolate, which was absolutely delicious and such a lovely touch. Access to the villa was very easy, with convenient parking, which made the whole stay feel comfortable and stress-free. One of the standout features was the spa. Its placement is just perfect — indoors for comfort and privacy, but with the front glass doors opening up to create an outdoor feeling while still enjoying the superb ocean view. Having the fireplace right next to the spa added another beautiful layer to the whole experience. Another major highlight for us was the outdoor swing. My wife and I spent so much of our time there, simply talking, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful view of the ocean and the sound of the waves. It was such a serene and special part of our stay. We also loved the new and cute Koala Track, which was a lovely little addition and provided an amazing view of the villas and the ocean. It added another special touch to the overall experience. This was honestly one of the best getaways we have had — affordable luxury in a beautiful beachfront villa. Thank you so much for making our anniversary so comfortable, thoughtful, and memorable. We would highly recommend Chocolate Gannets to anyone looking for a romantic, relaxing, and luxurious beachfront escape.

Our fav stay in our two week journey in Australia. Beautiful location, clean, comfortable and gorgeous villa, koalas in the backyard, ocean in the front. We wish we stayed longer. Thank you

We stayed in Villa #3 which although at the rear of the property still had ocean views and had the added bonus of sheep grazing in the paddock next door. Three Koalas in their natural environment literally in the back yard was a highlight for us West Australians. The villa was extremely well set out and immaculately clean with a huge luxurious hamper full of everything needed for our stay. Fruits, wine, chocolates, bread, eggs, milk. A lovely touch!! Bedding was extremely comfortable with two king size beds in separate rooms if required. Indoor Spa overlooking the ocean was a treat also. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chocolate Gannets and highly recommend a stay there!! Our only regret is we didn’t stay for a longer period 😊 Thank you Chocolate Gannets!!

We are very happy with our stay in Villa 3 at Chocolate Gannets. The villa was fully wheelchair accessible, with every detail thoughtfully designed for disabled and elderly guests. Special thanks to our host, Lilli, for being so accommodating to our requirements prior to arrival — she made everything so easy and welcoming. An unforgettable family trip with loved ones from overseas!
