Beautiful formal garden layouts with different themed areas and quirky hidden treasures in the hedges. Such a pleasure to walk around, especially on a hot day. Loved the gnomes scattered throughout the maze and the sculptures. Cafe was excellent and the staff were amazing. Definitely plan to go back, maybe in spring for the cherry blossom 🌸

What a beautiful place! The new owners, Nancy and Jenny, are absolutely charismatic and lovely. The food was fantastic—beautifully presented with an impressive variety on the menu. The maze (High Country ESTATE) was outstanding and so much fun. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. We truly loved our experience and can’t wait to come back

Today my wife and I visited the High Country Estate to explore the gardens and the Maze. We were absolutely delighted. The estate has new owners, Jenny and Nancy, who are chefs, and it truly shows in the food. The menu is spectacular and offers a great variety. My wife ordered the Chilli con Carne and I had the Lasagna - both dishes were beautifully presented, full of flavour, and the portions were just right. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The gardens are stunning and very well maintained. The art gallery is lovely, proudly supporting local artists. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy a meal, relax, and explore. It is very family-friendly and well worth a visit.

Had a lovely walking experience at the High Country Gardens during our visit to Mansfield. The staff and artists were incredibly warm and friendly. I’d definitely recommend stopping by to say hello and exploring their maze and award winning gardens. There’s also a hidden maze game you’ll have to discover for yourself while you’re there! They also have a café on site, with good parking and a beautiful outdoor seating area surrounded by scenery. Very kid friendly as well.

The new High Country Estate has won our hearts as a go to coffee spot on our regular Sunday walks. The new menu provides much needed sustenance at the end of our walk and the coffee rivals any Melbourne cafe, minus all the pretension. Nancy and Jenny are up for a chat and all the staff are welcoming. The local goodies and artworks are exquisite. We may even make it our Sunday stop for an afternoon drink under the glorious tree out the back as well. This place is truely a gem in the High Country.
