Man From Snowy River
Man From Snowy River is a popular day trip which runs during the summer months November through to June. Departing from Mansfield, this tour takes in Mt Buller and Mt Stirling, Monument, Summit, and Clear Hills 4WD tracks, Craig’s Hut and Razorback Hut. The 360 degree views which stretch over the mountain ranges, valleys and the bush fire devastated alpine forests are absolutely breathtaking. The rugged four wheel drive tracks that wind their way up the mountain sides, across ridges and through the burnt forests is an experience that you will never forget.

We had an amazing experience and it made my fiancé’s birthday truly special. Steve was incredibly patient and helped me organise the surprise visit to the Snowy River movie hut. He made us feel very safe and comfortable, and the conversation was lovely throughout the day. We also really enjoyed the coffee and lunch. Everything was well organised and relaxed. Highly recommended!

There is something amazing about the high country and it has been definitely on my bucket list for years to do. It was nice to sit back relax and see these iconic spots and learn about their amazing history. Great home made snacks along the way and the scenery I inspiring. Steve is a great tour guide and I would like to say thankyou for the day.

We had a terrific day visiting the high country with Steve. Steve was a great tour guide and he took us on great back roads, up to Mt Buller, other beautiful scenic spots and of course, the iconic Craig's Hut. We also went on real 4wd tracks in the comfort of his vehicle. We enjoyed very yummy treats for morning tea and lunch. Please share those recipes. We are so glad we invested in doing it properly. Steve provided a great experience with his comprehensive knowledge of this area. Magnificent scenery and a welcome morning tea and lunch just topped the day off. A great day for us and a special day for remembering my brother who passed away recently. The Victorian high country was his favorite place to be and he spent much of his life in the 70s & 80s hiking and camping in these mountains.
