Set within the backdrop of the Torquay and Jan Juc beaches, the RACV Torquay Golf Club is a challenging course for all golfers. The 18-hole, par-71 course was developed by Ogilvy Clayton, led by former US Open champion, Geoff Ogilvy and previous Victorian tournament professional, Mike Clayton.
The traditional links-style course follows the undulating surface of Victoria's Surf Coast and features wide-open couch fairways, immaculate greens, wetlands and picturesque ocean views. Located at 1, Great Ocean Road, Torquay Golf Club sits at the start of Victoria's premier tourist drive destination and is a leisurely 75 minutes drive from Melbourne.

Really nice course in good condition! The hazards were well placed but fortunately with no rain of summer, had some cheeky shots out of the "pond". Really rewarding holes if you can stay out of trouble. The 18th hole was absolutely awesome. Easily enjoyed the back 9 more than the front.

One of a must play coastal golf course in Melbourne. Enjoyed playing here, online booking was very easy. Fairways are well maintained, green and bit challenging. lucky me when played here was accompanied by 2 members Rob and Peter, they are an awesome host. There are lots of green and a great views on the back nine. Will be back playing here again

Great view from resort down across semi-open landing area. Firm sandy turf with scattered bunkers, plenty of water along holes and wicked fast greens. Slightly shorter layout but back 9 was very nice down across open rolling hills. Great value.

Stayed overnight on 10th Feb had 2 foccacias for dinner as the restaurant was closed at 9pm so we had room service meal at the dining area. They were the worst foccacias we ever had ever and better still they charged us $68 for 2 foccacias we could'nt believe it. Breakfast was sub standard and check out was annoying. Breakfast finishes at 10am so we got back to the room and immediately at 10.01am its checkout time!!!! give us a break we just got back from breakfast. not only did they ring at 10.01am they came knocking at the door!!! we checked in 2pm the previous day and they were knocking at 10am for us to get out!! I wont be back. It might be wise to get staff who speak good english at reception too.
