RACV Torquay Resort

Had a great visit to the Racv Resort recently. When we arrived the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful with all the information and booked us in for dinning at the Number 1 restaurant that night. Dinner was excellent. The food was delicious and the staff definitely made our night. From the hostess, to our attentive waiter and others who helped deliver our food and drink. We will definitely be rebooking to stay again at this resort!

Comfortable rooms though very spacious so not cosy, felt a little austere. But that’s consistent with the style of architecture. Not sure if the configuration of my bathroom was special but the ‘nook’ that houses the toilet was very narrow. A big bodied person would struggle to sit and not get speared by the toilet roll holders. Poor design. And the floor tile grout needs a detailed clean, very dirty compared to the grout colour on wall tiles. The bed was very firm, could use a topper for extra comfort. The common areas of the resort are well appointed though the armchairs in the lounge are worn and stained, a bit of a turn off. Food was very nice. The breakfast buffet was generous and a good variety of food on offer. The location is lovely though my ocean view room on level 3 had more like ocean glimpses. I assume the ‘premium’ rooms on levels 4 and 5 would have better views.

We had a wonderful stay at RACV Hotel! My husband surprised me here for my very first Mother's Day, and it couldn't have been more special. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and everything made our celebration feel truly memorable. Thank you for helping create such a precious memory for our little family. Highly recommended!

What a fabulous resort this is! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I booked an ocean view room including breakfast and to my surprise I got upgraded to a superior ocean view. The staff are friendly although the female receptionist with an accent that checked me in spoke a little too fast almost robotic and I had to ask her to slow down. Finding a car park can be tricky, as it gets quite full during the day. The rooms are quiet which I loved. Breakfast and lunch was delicious! Thankyou for catering for vegetarians. Special shout out to Jess at the day spa who gave me a wonderful facial and one of the best neck, head and shoulder massages Ive ever had. I would ask one thing ..please supply blankets in the room. I called reception which kindly brought one up. Can't wait to return. I miss it already. Ps: Keep an eye out for RACV member specials. I got an absolute bargain for my stay.
