My wife and I recently stayed in one of the new glamping caravans at Tasman Holiday Park in Bendigo and absolutely loved it. The whole setup is incredibly cute and thoughtfully designed, with an amazing attention to detail. Everything you could possibly need for a perfect night away has already been thought of and included. The vibe is cozy, stylish, and a little bit special — it feels like a fun mix of camping and boutique accommodation. You get the charm of being outdoors but with all the comforts that make it relaxing rather than roughing it. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating these spaces, and it really shows. We had such a great time and would happily stay again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique and charming little getaway.
One of the best caravan parks we've ever stayed at. Every aspect of the park is first class, from the friendly and professional greeting in check-in to the last time we went out through the gates. We'll definitely be back to Bendigo and the Tasman Holiday Park is where we'll be taking our van.
We have just spent a night at the Big 4 Tasman Caravan Park Bendigo and wanted to put a review after a very pleasant experience - the best we have seen. We had a powered site and found it was well set out with a shaded grassed area and concrete slab that felt private. The amenities were excellent - great showers with a shower curtain extremely clean and well set out. The dump point was a work of art - it was housed in a special room and spotlessly clean. It is a well thought out caravan park with things for everyone - “the hub”, a mini gym, an air conditioned beautiful kitchen with gas bbqs adjoining that area, a kids area, putt-putt. There were cabins and glamping tents and retro vans. The receptionist was very helpful. We were very Impressed and wanted to recommend it to others who are visiting Bendigo. Davenjude.
This is a lovely park. There are 2 camo kitchens next to each other and are clean with a small gym, outdoor giant chess game, pool and large fire place. Showers could do with a soap holder. The park is a bit noisy at night with trains blasting their horn late at night or early hours. There is a pub about 20 min walk away and Bendigo racetrack next door. The fireplace and firewood is locked up so ask reception before 5pm if you want the fireplace on. We didn’t realise till after 5.
Misleading “from” pricing Booked an Ensuite Powered Site after the website showed “from $54 per night”. The actual invoice used dynamic pricing — the cheapest night was $65, with most nights much higher, averaging about $84 per night. The park gracefully cancelled the booking when I raised it. I still feel the “from” rate creates a misleading impression. Big4 point to the park and the park pointed to Big 4. Has anyone else experienced this with BIG4 or other parks? Is there a reliable way to see the real nightly rates before booking?
