“An Unforgettable Wilderness Cruise” My wife and I recently booked the Wilsons Promontory Wilderness Cruise with Wanderer Adventures, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our entire trip. We chose the 2.5-hour wilderness cruise ($165 per person), and it was absolutely worth every dollar. We were lucky to go on a sunny and calm day, and that made the trip even more enjoyable. If you are planning to go, I highly recommend choosing a sunny day as the views are incredible and the ride feels smoother. Windy or rainy days might not give the same experience. Throughout the journey, the crew guided us through multiple iconic spots around Wilsons Promontory. They explained the history and significance of each location, which made the whole experience much more meaningful. The scenery along the coastline was spectacular — from unique rock formations to crystal-blue waters. One of the highlights was getting close to the seal colony. Be prepared — the seals are adorable but very smelly! It’s a funny and memorable part of the experience. But the real showstopper is Skull Rock. Seeing it in person is breathtaking — such a beautiful natural landmark that pictures simply cannot capture. The scale, shape, and uniqueness of Skull Rock make it the standout moment of the cruise. Overall, this wilderness cruise is highly recommended for anyone visiting Wilsons Promontory. It’s scenic, educational, relaxing, and full of unforgettable moments. Whether you’re a couple, family, or solo traveler, this experience is definitely worth adding to your itinerary.
