Our surf lesson was cancelled due to sharks in the area, but they were very nice and were able to book us in the next day! All around very fun and helpful as a beginner. The instructor was always attentive and making sure everyone was getting a chance to catch a proper wave! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking into trying out surfing!

I surfed with Jayme for 3 private lessons this week and could not recommend him more for great surfing in Byron Bay. He picked the right surf spot for my skill level (Clarkes) right under The Pass and we had a great balance between on-land techniques and on-water reps. I was able to catch waves before I arrived, but with Jayme I improved my padding technique, ability to stay on wave for longer, ability to read where the waves would break. He brought a GoPro for my second session so I could review the film and know what to adjust. Bonus, he’s good company, fun to chat with during the lesson. The pickup from my accommodation was on time and convenient. Thanks Jayme!

Great instructor. Very knowledgeable and helpful and all round nice bloke. Would 100% recommend this company for first time surfers. Managed to catch a fair few waves too!

Jayme is an amazing teacher. I highly recommend him to anybody who is wanting to learn how to surf. He taught my group skills on how to stay safe in the water, as well as how to catch a wave. I had a really fun time.
