Snowy Monaro Fly Fishing provides fly fishing guiding and tuition for individuals or small groups in the beautiful Snowy Mountains and Monaro district. Your guide Paul Bourne, is licensed to guide in Kosciuszko National Park and has been operating in the region for nearly 30 years.

The Snowy Mountains and Monaro offer visitors some of the best fly fishing available in Australia. Many scenic and diverse rivers and high country lakes are found throughout the region. These fabulous waters include renowned Lake Eucumbene and Lake Jindabyne, as well as many smaller impoundments and private still waters.

Whether you are just starting out in fly fishing or a veteran of many seasons, the multitude of fly fishing options in the Snowy Mountains and Monaro region provide a whole new dimension for you to experience.

Available Tours

Fly Fishing

People who wish to learn fly fish can benefit from a full or half day tuition tour. Depending on conditions, on your tour you will visit various beautiful waters in the Kosciuszko National Park region. All equipment and lunch (full day tour) is provided. You will learn basic casting and fly fishing skills and hopefully even catch a few brown or rainbow trout. Clients are returned to their accommodation or vehicle at conclusion of the tour.
