Gorgeous. I wanted to SUP but it was too windy. Lots of ticks, but absolutely incredible place. Simple toilet facilities, BYO water. There was a fire ban when we were there so gas stove only but fire pits at each camp
Jinny summer

Beautiful spot to camp. Totally around 24 sites. Gets busy on summer times and on school holidays. Just next to beach and river. Short and good paths to walk around. I have seen couple of kangaroos around the river. Not easy to find the entrance. Need to get through unsealed road for 8min to get there.

Beautiful area, free campsite with drop toilets. Some nice walking trails and a large ocean beach with a long wide beach, plenty of sand, we saw dolphins from the viewing platform near the campsite too.

If you're after good fishing, then maybe come here and let me know how you go. I think I just suck at fishing. But the water is quite shallow for a long way out, though I did catch a baby flatty off the beach.
Other than that, stunning beach, there is even a plaque on the rocks to the south, a memorial to a past fellow of loved the place, and I can see why.
Great bushwalks around and picnic spaces. The camp grounds were well marked out and tidy, and there is even a drop toilet. The toilet needs to be pumped out, though they're getting a bit full, but don't smell too bad.
