Facilities were great, good quick service for food and drink. Staff were friendly and helpful.But the racing was on the synthetic track and the viewing was terrible. The horses in the straight disappear behind advertising signs then reappear 5m from finish line . Absolutely terrible design. The reason you go to the races is to watch the horses run down the straight to the finish line and we saw nothing. I would never go again to the races if run on the synthetic track. The patrons should be top priority not the advertising.

SPENT THE DAY IN THE FINE DINING RESTAURANT PRIVATE AREA CELEBRATING A FRIENDS 50th. I cannot compliment the Chefs and Service Staff highly enough. The view of the racecourse was truly spectacular- uninterrupted views of the parading ring, the entire course and we sat right on the finishing line in air conditioned comfort being truly pampered by first class service from 11am to 6pm. Talk about value for money. OMG. It was as fine a dining experience as I’ve ever had. There was not a moment when we had to wait for a drink. Our food was delivered perfectly - seven course set menu which I can still remember because it was one of the best meals I have had in 2025, by far. We had our own table, our own little TV for watching interstate racing and the absolute perfect view of GC racing. We all won, except for the Birthday Boy 😂, but we shouted his day and his accommodation and we all had the best day ever. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough - even if you don’t know much about racing. It was super high energy fun, superb food and drink and service and gorgeous surrounds. I have been to racecourses all over Australia and this was truly the best Raceday experience I have had anywhere. I cannot wait to make up an excuse to go back!

I had the most lovely day at the Gold Coast Turf Club. Fortunate enough to be with owners of a race horse and having full access. The surroundings everywhere were beautiful. The staff were friendly and professional. I’d like to make special mention of the catering team in the downstairs members lounge - they were out of roast meat for roast rolls which we wanted, the beautiful lady behind the register rang upstairs (I think?) and we waited a short time only to have the rolls delivered to our table, and may I just say they were delicious!! 😋. An amazing day out in a beautiful environment and seeing the horses so well cared for. Cannot recommend or rate this outing more highly.

Great Venue for races! Open vast arena for watching races as well as holding events for under 1000 people for sure be it dinners or parties, conventions or races! I attended the Eid ul Adha Salah here and found the hall spacious enough to hold separate makes and females attenders for the prayers. I just wondered about the location of lift for my mother for her future visit.
