Fantastic riverboat tour of the Barron River from Kuranda. Andrew was an awesome guide… friendly, engaging and informative. I especially loved the turtle and fish feeding moment and spotting three freshwater crocodiles! Highly recommended by me!😍 💯
Must do if youre in the area. We had a great time, the kids enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles. Gary was an excellent guide, we learnt some really cool things about the rainforest and enjoyed his humour along the way. Will absolutely be back the next time we are in Kuranda.
This company needs more promotion, we were lucky to see the sign when we got off the cable cars spending $30 each for a tour would be good value. We were right, Gary was absolutely fantastic and we lived seeing the freshwater crocs and hearing the stories (glad we didn't get Bill) lol (personal joke)
We did a riverboat cruise today and had a ball! Gary the host was very knowledgeable and funny at the same time. We saw fish, turtles, ducks and a couple of lazy crocodiles too. The boat ride was smooth and steady and perfect for all ages.
What a fun and informative river ride! We saw 3 crocodiles, many turtles, and lots of fish. Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable -- he shared lots of fun facts about the river, rainforest, and the animals that live there. The cost for the experience was very reasonable, the duration of the cruise was comfortable, and it was the highlight of our time in Kuranda. Of note, if you take one of the later cruises like we did, make sure to explore Kuranda beforehand. When we got off our cruise at 3:15pm most of the town was already closing up for the evening so we didn't get any time in the shops. That was surprising and a bummer after making the drive up there. Glad we had the cruise to make the trip worth it!
