Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise

We loved our stay at Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise. The fully self-contained one bedroom suite had everything we could possibly need and was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The views over the coastline and beach were absolutely stunning. The location is fantastic - directly opposite the beach and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. We also loved being able to jump on a Lime bike and explore the Gold Coast’s extensive network of bike paths. The facilities are excellent, with both indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, gym and even a day spa on site. Having two restaurants and a café within the complex was also very convenient. One of the standout features was the secure parking. As we normally travel with a higher vehicle, it was great to find parking that accommodates vehicles up to 2.5 metres high - something many other properties can’t offer. The light rail stop located at the rear of the building made getting around the Gold Coast incredibly easy without needing to drive. A fantastic place to stay with great facilities, an unbeatable location and amazing views. We would happily stay here again.

My partner and I have stayed here twice now and we love it! Great location, right on the esplanade and a quick walk to all the shops. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable - it had everything we needed. Amazing view from the balcony of both the city & beach! Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the outdoor pool & spa as well as the restaurants & bars. We will definitely be back!

Our concierge Jess, greeted us with a smile and helped us park. Josh at the front desk was very friendly ,and very busy but still took the time to be very courteous to all. The onsite manager Lani, went out of her way to write a personal letter to welcome my partner and I for our anniversary. Amazing experience highly recommend a stay at Meriton suites great value and exceptional quality in all areas. Happy customer whom shall return time and time again, thanks Meriton suites team. :)

Stayed in the Ocean Suite at Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise and overall it was a good stay, mainly because of the location and the view, but there were a few issues that affected the experience. The location is honestly excellent. You’re right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, close to the beach, restaurants, and everything you need, but still feels comfortable and not overly noisy. The suite itself was very clean and modern, and the view was the highlight. The sunrise and sunset from the room were absolutely beautiful and easily the best part of the stay. The facilities were also nice, especially the level 5 pool area with both indoor and outdoor options, plus the sauna which was a good bonus. The main issue we had was with the air conditioning in the living and dining area. Every time we entered the suite, it was extremely hot and it took a long time to cool down. We reported it, and a maintenance staff member came to check it, but the issue wasn’t properly fixed and there was no real improvement. Because of that, we couldn’t comfortably use the living and dining space and ended up spending most of our time in the bedroom where it was cooler. Overall, it’s a good property with a great location and amazing views, but the air conditioning problem really affected the comfort of the stay and should be looked into properly.
