Pretty good location, nice amenities such as showers, restrooms and kitchen Easy access to the beach. Not to many people around when we were visiting so a bit on the quieter side. A bit expensive but we only spent a few nights so it wasn’t to bad.
A modest caravan park with decent, disabled accessable amenities. Not overly bright at night but allows safety while keeping the camper in mind. Close to Boutique eateries and classic attractions such as the wharf, sea-life, Aquaduck pickup and heaps more. With boating, fishing and beach access close by, you will be struggling to get a better spot over the school holidays. Powered and unpowered sites available with ample room on the provided slab and single car parking provided. It has a coin operated laundry equipped with washers and dryers and communal clothesline for rhose longer stays. Pin entry gates and and security patrols on site during the busy periods mean peace of mind for you and your family. Scooters, bikes and skateboards are encouraged during the day as are ball and yard games. Overall a friendly, family oriented park, lovingly maintained and cared for by its welcoming staff.
Just to let all know deposits to hold a site in future is 1weeks accommodation as it was only $50 last year & apparently last week $100!! We are not paying $95 per night for 7 nites to hold a site!! $665 in total!! Not in these times!! Yes it’s a beautiful park but this new policy hits us hard in tough times like now! Have stayed at Mooloolaba & Cotton Tree at least 8 times over the last 4years! Will now be looking for a park as good closer to home near Ballina in future! Too Greedy! Sad😞
Continual maintenance noise - mowing, edging and chainsaws. Water will not flow out of caravan as outlet for our hose was too high. Very stressful. Unable to use cash in washing machines or dryers - had to use a credit card online. We are return visitors but will not come back. Very disappointing.
This park is perfectly located within walking distance to the beach, the wharf and the esplanade. Been coming here for a number of years and I love Mooloolaba. However it seems as the price increases, the service declines. Trees around sites need trimming. I’ve not had the yardman up our end in the 4 weeks we’ve been here. Last year once a week leaves would be blowed & come around whipper snipping. It’s the busiest time of the year and of the two clothes driers, one is broken. Been this way for 4 weeks. There are rules but they are not enforced. While not enforced they will continued to be broken such as parked cars not clear of roadway. The staff in the office are great, nice and friendly.
