We stayed at Sea World Resort for 5 nights during the school holidays as a family of four (3 adults and 1 child). We booked a package costing over $2,500, which included multi‑entry theme park access but no breakfast buffet. Our room had two double beds overlook the garden, which felt small for our two kids, but we accepted it as part of the package. The main issue was the room location — we were placed right at the junction near the lift, where all guests pass through to reach the lobby, gym, and massage area. Unfortunately, noise was constant throughout our stay: Kids running down the hallway after 11 pm Guest walking pass talking loudly waking us up Luggage/ housekeeping wheels and families heading to breakfast starts from 6:30 am. This made it very difficult to get proper rest, especially during a busy day schefuled abd enjoy the fun after the thene park. When we asked reception for an extra bed, we were told our room was too small to fit one but we could pay an additional $300 to move to a different room for the remaining 3 nights.Given the price we already paid, this didn’t feel like good value. We received a 10% food and beverage voucher, but it could only be used inside the theme park, not at the resort. This was disappointing, misleading and not clearly explained. The best part of the stay is the location — being right next to Sea World is extremely convenient for families visiting the park. Overall, the location is excellent, the noise levels, room placement, lack of flexibility, and additional charges made the stay not worth the price for us. I would recommend to stay at down town area which easily accessible to other places and paid the theme parks package itself next time.
It was our second time here as a family, it’s a go to for bang for your buck. We had theme parks and breakfast included in our package - well worth it. The resort is great for all ages. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff friendly and happy to help (extra thanks to the team for allowing us a late check out when our boy unfortunately had an accident (else where) and ended up in emergency overnight). We will be back.
Check in was fast, staff communication was awesome throughout the two days me and my family stayed. Staff greeted us from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. All staff were friendly & helpful. Dinner & breakfast tasted amazing. Our kids are autistic, everything was cater for to their needs from the food they ate to the pools/water park & playground that they were entertained with. The room was clean, nice & cosy! Will definitely stay again, thank yous to the sea world resort for me & my family. Kind regards, Shilo.
Great experience at SeaWorld resort. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Pleasantly surprised at the facilities for young and old. Great set up for families and easy access to the park. It was very easy for us to feed the family and overall a great vibe and atmosphere. Very good value for money. A shout to Joanna our restaurant staff member
I was very disappointed with the resort. Firstly the beds in the rooms are doubles so unless you’re a short person they are very uncomfortable with your feet sticking over the end. Secondly the rooms are incredibly noisy where you hear everything in the adjacent rooms as well as the rooms above and below as well as the corridors outside at all hours of the night. I stayed 5 nights and never had an uninterrupted sleep. The only positive with the room was the cleaning staff who did a great job every day. Secondly the restaurants served very mediocre food at high prices for their quality. The staff were totally disorganised with long queues to get served and then no attention afterwards with many tables not being cleared well after the patrons had left. It was convenient being able to access Sea World from the resort but this isn’t a compelling enough reason to stay. The location is so isolated you have to drive to go anywhere to get a decent meal or to go the any shops. I certainly could not recommend anyone staying at the resort which was very overpriced for what you got. There are much higher quality hotels nearby at the same or lower prices.
