Exceptional!!! Short walk to Twin Falls and Black fellow Falls. Cinderella chalet is outstanding. Own private rockpool, indoor and outdoor spa, outside glass shower. Food hampers at extra cost which are worth every cent. Fantastic hosts. A truly magical experience. Super-comfy bed with an array of pillows. Luxurious and comforting with nothing overlooked. Serene, tranquil surroundings. Wonderful wildlife look into the creek you will see some blue yabbies. Not to mention the bush turkey who is quite happy to spend moments with you near the outdoor spa. Keep an eye out for the pademelons. We will be back for sure.
This is one of my favourite places ever. This is the place to go for seclusion and rejuvenation. It takes some planning, you have to bring your own food and meal prep, as there's very few places around to get meals, but it's self contained. I'm eager to come back when the renovations are finished, as it will be quiet and peaceful. The hot tub on the balcony is divine, and my partner is in love with Prince Charming's outdoor shower.,
Totally recommend staying here if you need some down time to switch off and relax in nature! This is my second time visiting with my fiance, we loved it so much the first time we were eager to stay in a different lodge! The first time we stayed in Belle and it was incredible, so romantic and lots of privacy to just hibernate. This time we are now staying in Grumpy and it’s alot smaller in size but perfect for two people! Enjoying breakfast on the veranda right beside the creek/ falls has been so good for the soul. We are feeling incredibly recharged but sad to go tomorrow! The owners are lovely people and were exceptionally helpful with our first stay on where to find everything. Plus little Sophie (fur baby) was adorable and such a cute little first greeting when we got out the car to check in. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a stay here! Bring a book, puzzle or board game and switch off from socials/ reality. You won’t regret it. 🥰😌
An amazing place. Such unique and charming accommodation in an incredible rainforest seeing. We had excellent massages too! It is getting a bit run down in places but hopefully they can keep in top of that.
Absolutely do not stay here on a week day while the construction is still ongoing. We were expecting some construction noise, but not constant jackhammering from 8am to 3pm. We were offered a small discount after we complained but it didn't even come close to compensating us for 2 ruined days of our 4 day trip. Sadly it was pouring with rain so we couldn't even escape the cabin to go walking. Putting the noise aside, it's a really lovely place, but I don't think it's worth the price tag, especially at the moment when the entrance is a muddy construction zone. I've stayed in nicer places that were much cheaper. The outside area of the cabin hasn't been cleaned in a long time and the floor corners inside were pretty dirty too. The breakfast platters were good but do not order a picnic- we got a strange collection of food (an extremely overcooked pie, some cold fried potato wedges, a huge chunk of lettuce, ham, cheese, bread) and inside of the basket and the plates and cutlery were filthy. I'm heartbroken that our honeymoon was so disappointing.
