My family and I did the Grand Kuranda Tour and it was AWESOME! You are not going to get bored-You’re always on the move whether it’s the butterfly aviary or the Kuranda Scenic railway. We were able to see so much of the Kuranda rainforest on their sky tram and boardwalks. After, we adventured to the butterfly garden and then the zoo, which had some adorable (and touchable) kangaroos and wallabies. We then went on the train and saw all the glorious mountains. Definitely recommend the Grand Kuranda Tour!

Kuranda Grand CKBB Tour - An Unforgettable Experience The Kuranda Grand CKBB tour was absolutely amazing and hands down one of the best tours I’ve done in Australia. It was perfectly organised and offered such a great mix of culture, wildlife and nature, all in one day. From learning about local Indigenous culture to seeing incredible Australian wildlife up close, every activity felt well thought out and genuinely interesting. The natural scenery around Kuranda is breathtaking - lush rainforest, waterfalls, and viewpoints that really show how special this area is. What I loved most was the variety. You’re not just doing one thing all day - you experience culture, explore nature, and interact with wildlife, which keeps the whole tour exciting and engaging from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly, the guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and the whole day felt relaxed but still full of highlights. I’d highly recommend the Kuranda Grand CKBB tour to anyone visiting Cairns who wants to experience the very best of the region in one unforgettable trip.

After spending some time living in Cairns, Kuranda was surprisingly the one place I hadn’t visited yet, and I honestly didn’t expect to feel like I had been missing out this much. The journey itself is already unforgettable, with breathtaking views from the train through the mountains and an incredible perspective over the rainforest canopy from the Skyrail, which really shows how vast and ancient this landscape is. Having access to Rainforestation was also a highlight, as it allows you to learn about Aboriginal culture and understand the origins of the rainforest, adding real depth and meaning to the experience. If you are in Cairns or nearby, Kuranda is truly something you shouldn’t miss, as the combination of spectacular scenery and cultural insight makes it a very special day 🫱🏻🫲🏼🌞
