












Get the most out of your visit at the Australian National Botanic Gardens on a free guided walk. Led by their knowledgeable guides, these walks allow you to appreciate the beauty and clever adaptations of Australian plants and the research and effort involved in creating and maintaining the Gardens. These walks are held at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm daily (except Christmas Day). Please arrive 10 minutes before departure time. Special themed walks are also held throughout the year. Discover the amazing secrets of plants that live in the Australian bush on this family-friendly tour. Travel on the magical Flora bus, walk through the Rainforest Gully, visit the Red Centre Garden and finish at the Paperbark Treehouse. Suitable for children 4-10 years. An adult must accompany children. Tour runs for one hour. Bookings essential.

On a Flora Explorer Bus Tour, discover the diversity and beauty of the living collection of native plants at the Australian National Botanic Gardens. Join an experienced Volunteer Guide in a relaxing 45-minute tour aboard the Flora Explorer open-air electric bus. Enjoy live commentary of the main highlights of the Gardens and hear stories about Australia's unique plants in a spectacular bushland setting. Tours depart from the Visitor Centre on weekends and public holidays at 11.30am and 1.30pm. Suitable for families and visitors with limited mobility. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The bus is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for babies due to seating requirements. During winter, they encourage bringing a jacket or a rug to stay warm while on the tour.
