City Hill Park is an open green space in the heart of Canberra, offering a quiet escape from the City Centre.
It is considered to be one of Canberra's most significant landmarks. As one of Walter Burley Griffin's original design points, the hill is laid out in a circular pattern with radial paths that reflect his vision for Canberra's geometric plan.
From the top of the hill, visitors can take in views along the avenues that connect to other important parts of Canberra, highlighting its role as both a scenic spot and a piece of the city's heritage.

This is just a small tree lined hill in the centre of the city. One can get a good view of the surrounding areas and relax on the benches. There are no walking trails. It's not easy to access the area as it's surrounded by roads with heavy traffic. There's a flagpole in the midst of the pine and cypress trees. The place can be maintained better.

Was expected a little more from the central hill, with the walk leading up to City Hill being certainly better than the hill itself. The pathway leading up was full of rabbits and the path was well maintained. Unfortunately there was no clear path up the grass verge to the central part of the hill, and there was lots of rubbish with the grass overgrown. A few benches at the top with some reasonable views.

Was expecting a little more considering this looked like the main central park for the city, but there wasn't too much going on here. No one around, a few benches and viewpoints, but otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. For some reason there are hundreds of rabbits around here as well.

This is a small hill on Coronation Avenue. There are seats at the top so that you can sit back and enjoy the view.

The flag can be seen from add far as across the bridge, as an icon of this place. But there isn't much to see here when you are up close. There's a flag in the middle and a memorial on the side.
