Ark in the Ark and Beyond (white granite) by Wataru Hamasaka
River Lizard (2013) by Paul Haslam and Richard Lamond
And inside the Theatre Foyer:
Magpie Message Stick #3 (2020) made of bullseye glass by Jennifer Kemarre Martiniello
Powerful Owl (2010) made of bronze and timber by Bruce Armstrong (1957–2024)
Went down here for watercolour workshop. We get a chance to do painting inside the gallery. It was such an amazing experience as we spent through almost 3 hrs in there. The gallery is really nice and clear. Since its just near by the lake, it was a good experience to have a walk around the later after getting off from the gallery.
A multi-use space with classes, beautiful impressionist exhibitions and a pretty good cafe attached. Grab a coffee, enjoy the art, walk the lake. Your date will appreciate the culture and nature.
Had lunch with a friend at Kiln@Belco. Has been a long time since I've enjoyed such a wonderful lunch. Food was delicious, prepared with care and pride. Coffee very enjoyable. Looking forward to next visit there. Beautiful views over the lake. Umbrellas are provided over the spacious bench seats and tables. After lunch we enjoyed a tour of the gallery.
Very nice facility Went to two performances there while I was in Belconnen for work. It has two performance spaces, a gallery, cafe and bar. Nicely maintained. A great resource for the local community and visitors.
A great display of traditional and contemporary mixed medium arts practices from five First Nations artists from across the county. Exhibiting now at Belco Arts. Entry free, parking along the side of the street.
