El Arish Tavern is a family-owned and operated historic hotel established in 1927, located in the small regional township of El Arish on the Cassowary Coast. The Tavern provides traditional hospitality, dining, beverages, functions and events, while also operating as a growing regional tourism destination.
The Tavern is recognised as the home of the whole smoked saltwater crocodile experience, attracting visitors from across Queensland, interstate and overseas. Their location near the Bruce Highway, combined with a unique food offering and 1927 heritage, provides an authentic regional Queensland experience for travellers exploring the Cassowary Coast.
