I visited the museum and art gallery, and it was an awesome experience. The place is well-maintained, clean, and organized. Although some areas were still under repair or renovation, it did not affect my visit too much.
One thing I really liked was the location map and layout design. It was easy to follow, and I never felt lost or worried about missing any exhibits.
The museum offers a wide variety of displays, from Northern Territory animals and ancient fossils to exhibits about Cyclone Tracy and maritime history, including impressive boats and detailed information panels. There was so much to see and learn.
I learned a lot during my visit and truly enjoyed my time there. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in history, nature, and culture. I look forward to coming back when the renovated section reopens!

A fascinating introduction to the Northern Territory, featuring Cyclone Tracy, Aboriginal art, natural history and local culture. Completely unplanned, free, next to breakfast, and blessed with air-conditioning. The kids loved the ants exhibit. Sometimes the best attractions are the accidental ones! 😆

It was excellent. The Art was wonderful. The Cyclone Tracy exhibition was very insightful. Definitely worth a visit, you need about 2+ hours to really enjoy it. We ate lunch there & the food was great but not super cheap. The view from the museum was also lovely.

It is free! The exhibitions are very good. As someone from outside Australia I didn't know much about the history of the first people. Beautiful art work and educational exhibits. Great food in the restaurant as well.
