About

One of Australia's longest‑running roller rinks — over 40 years of continuous skating fun, and a true Tasmanian icon.

For more than 40 years, Woody's has been the heart of skating in Hobart — now thriving in Glenorchy with a vibrant mix of public skating sessions, Disco nights, inline hockey, parties, and community events and also one of Tasmania's largest indoor kids play areas.

Under colourful lights and upbeat music, visitors of all ages can lace up and glide, enjoy the retro vibe, and feel the energy of a rink that's been rolling since the 1980s.

Whether you're a local looking for weekend fun, or a traveller chasing a nostalgic Aussie experience, Woody's delivers pure joy on wheels and hours of fun for adults and kids alike.

They also have party rooms, multiple seating areas, a skate shop, and a kiosk boasting homemade, stone-baked pizza, slushies and other eats and drinks. Wheelchair access and wheelchair activity friendly.
