Waldheim Alpine Spa is encircled by rainforest at the edge of the exquisite World Heritage-listed Tasmanian Wilderness. Soak up views of an ancient landscape from your spa suite as you indulge in the many luxurious treatments offered.
Waldheim Alpine Spa uses completely natural Australian and Tasmanian-made skin care, body care and spa products. There are four therapy rooms - including double treatment rooms for couples. Waldheim Alpine Spa also has a dedicated therapeutic retreat known as The Sanctuary. Here you can ease away the aches of a day's bushwalking, or travelling, in the steam room, sauna, hot tub and cool plunge pool, and then soak in the view as you complete your experience in the relaxation lounge.
The Spa is available to guests of Cradle Mountain Lodge and casual visitors. The lodge is located in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, two-and-a-half-hour drive west of Launceston (144 kilometres) and a 90-minute drive from Devonport (83 kilometres).

We booked the Sanctuary and absolutely loved it! Perfect end to the day after a long hike in Cradle Mountain. Gorgeous scenery and we had the place all to ourselves. Includes private sauna, cold plunge and spa with stunning scenery. The woman who owns the spa was incredibly lovely. Highly recommend

Senna and Jess were terrific throughout the entire spa experience. We booked the sanctuary, which is a hour long experience with a spa, plunge pool, sauna and steam room, which was the perfect way to unwind before we continued with the lime scrub package. My husband and I have never felt so relaxed in our lives and the view is incredible. Great experience with the team, they clearly love what they do!

My partner and I recently enjoyed a facial and a one hour spa session, and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of Simone and Senna. While both were incredibly professional, kind, and attentive, I especially want to highlight Senna, who was looking after me. She was absolutely outstanding. Her care, attention to detail, and genuine warmth made the entire experience next level. You can really tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows in every part of the treatment. They truly made our trip to Tasmania, especially our time at Cradle Mountain, very memorable. We left feeling completely relaxed and well looked after. We will definitely be back, and Senna especially deserves a raise.

Fantastic Day Spa. Hubby (reluctantly) and I booked in for the Signature couples massage, facial, body scrub. So relaxing! Day Spa is small but lovely, incredible views during the foot bathing ritual from full length glass windows, therapists were great and our skin is glowing! Really worth doing and hubby is all ready to go fishing! (Hehe)

A phenomenonal experience from start to finish. Friendly elderly lady- Seena made my mum feel very special for her birthday. Beautiful view and well thought out facials. No hurry for my mum and I to spend time together after the facial. You pay top dollar but it’s well worth it for a special occasion.
